DeArmond Therapy was established in June 2017 and is owned and operated by Jennifer DeArmond, licensed clinical social worker. In addition to providing evidenced-based therapeutic practices to children, adolescents, and their families, DeArmond Professional Services also offers a variety of advocacy and consultative services. DeArmond Therapy is currently accepting new clients.

DEARMOND THERAPY
DeArmond Therapy is owned and operated by Jennifer DeArmond, LMSW. Jennifer graduated from Michigan State University in 2012, and she holds a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work. She is fully licensed in the State of Michigan. Jennifer's experience with children, adolescents, and their families is extensive. For the past five years, Jennifer has practiced as a school social worker, evaluating and helping students with special needs. She has had great success with students diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and Mood Disorders. Jennifer has a keen understanding of mental health issues and the complexities of the modern school social and academic environment. Jennifer excels at supporting families in the goal of meeting their needs.

DEARMOND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Individual Therapy
If you have a child or adolescent between the ages of 5 and 17 who is in need of individual therapy, Jennifer would love to complete a full assessment and make recommendations for services. Jennifer has worked with individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and Mood Disorders.
IEP Goal Management
If you have a child with an IEP and would like support outside of the school setting with enhancing and maintaining progress on goals and objectives, set up an appointment today. This is a perfect short term service to promote maintenance and growth over the summer months as well.
Consultative Services
DeArmond Professional Services also offers consultative services for schools. Jennifer can work with your staff to systematically problem solve behavioral concerns or provide professional development sessions aimed at meeting the social and emotional needs of diverse learners within the school setting.
Adult Services
In addition to providing services for children and adolescents, Jennifer also offers continued therapeutic services for adults on the autism spectrum. Jennifer is well aware of the unique transitional needs of adults with autism as they navigate the social and emotional demands of independence.
